About CanteraPro

I built this because I watch this exact problem every single day.

I work at a rock yard. Every day, solo landscapers and small crews pull in to load up mulch, gravel, decomposed granite — whatever the job calls for. I talk to these guys all day, every day. I hear about their jobs, their headaches, their busy seasons. And over time, one thing became obvious: almost none of them had a good way to actually run their business.

They were writing estimates on the back of a receipt, texting invoices as a paragraph, trying to remember which client still owed them money. Some of them had tried the "real" business apps — the ones built for companies running 10, 20, 50 trucks — and gotten stuck paying $25, $50, sometimes close to $80 a month for a pile of features a one-truck operation is never going to touch. That's real money out of a guy's pocket every single month, just to write an invoice.

And there was something else these apps almost all got wrong: language. A huge share of the hardest-working people in this trade are part of the Hispanic community, and a lot of them are still learning English. Nearly every piece of landscaping business software out there is built English-first, with maybe a half-hearted translation bolted on somewhere if you're lucky. I see the work ethic of this community up close, every single day at the yard — and it didn't sit right with me that the software meant to help them run their businesses barely spoke their language.

So I built CanteraPro. "Cantera" is Spanish for a rock yard — it's a name that comes straight from where this idea started. The goal was simple: build something that actually serves solo landscapers and small crews. Something that doesn't cost a fortune, doesn't lock you into a subscription just to send an invoice, doesn't require an internet connection to work in the field, and treats Spanish as a first-class language, not an afterthought.

That's also why the founding-member lifetime pricing exists. I wanted a way to reward the people who believe in this early — the ones taking a chance on a smaller, independent app instead of the big incumbents — with a price that will never come back once those spots are gone.

I'm not a giant software company. I'm someone who sees this trade up close every day and wanted to build the tool I kept watching people need. If CanteraPro makes your week a little easier, that's exactly what it's for.

Thanks for checking it out — I hope it earns a spot on your home screen.
