Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms
By downloading, installing, or using the CanteraPro mobile application ("CanteraPro," "the App," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
2. No account required
CanteraPro does not require you to create an account or provide personal identifying information to use it. Your use of the App is tied to your device, not to a user profile we maintain. Because of this, we have no ability to look up, transfer, or recover your data on your behalf — see Section 6 below.
3. Plans and pricing
CanteraPro is offered under the following plans, current pricing for which is always listed on our Pricing page:
- Free: full feature access up to 10 clients, 10 jobs, 10 estimates, and 10 invoices, at no cost.
- Pro: a recurring monthly subscription that unlocks unlimited clients/jobs/estimates/invoices plus additional features described on the Pricing page.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase, offered only to a limited number of founding-member buyers, that grants everything included in Pro for as long as the App is available, with no recurring payment. Once the founding-member lifetime spots described on the Pricing page are sold, the Lifetime option will close and only the Pro subscription will remain available for new purchases going forward.
4. Billing and payment processing
All purchases — subscription and one-time — are billed and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where you downloaded the App. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment card details. Subscription renewal, cancellation, and billing management are all handled directly through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, not within CanteraPro.
5. Refunds
Because all payments are processed by Apple or Google, refund requests are handled through their standard refund policies and processes, not directly by us:
- App Store purchases: request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com or your Apple ID purchase history.
- Google Play purchases: request a refund through the Google Play Store's order history and refund process.

6. Your data and backups are your responsibility
Because CanteraPro stores your data locally on your device and we do not operate a cloud server, we cannot recover your data if your device is lost, damaged, stolen, or reset. We strongly encourage you to use the built-in Encrypted Backup feature regularly and store your backup file somewhere safe (your device's Files app, your own cloud storage, or emailed to yourself). We are not responsible for data loss resulting from a lost, damaged, or reset device where no backup was made.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use CanteraPro only for lawful business purposes, and not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the App outside of the official App Store and Google Play channels.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
CanteraPro is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. Tools like the Material Calculator, Mileage Log, and Job Profitability Report are provided as convenient estimates to assist your business — you remain responsible for verifying figures used for tax filing, compliance, or contractual purposes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CanteraPro and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
